GLC has expressed a number of concerns about how the proposed bodies prescribed for the purposes of approving lay representatives in mortgage repossession cases are to be regulated. We believe these concerns require to be addressed in order to provide the Scottish public with an equivalent level of consumer redress and protection as currently exists as against professional representatives.
